ABOUT CLUSTER UNIVERSITY JAMMU ENTRANCE TEST (CLUJET)

ADMISSION TO THE VARIOUS PROGRAMMES OF THE CLUSTER UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU, FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2017-18 SHALL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF ACADEMIC MERIT AND CLUSTER UNIVERSITY JAMMU ENTRANCE TEST (CLUJET).

1. The Entrance Test (CLUJET) shall be held for admission in the following subjects:

1.  2 YEAR PG PROGRAMMES: 2 Year M.A. Music (Vocal & Instrumental), 2 Year M.A. English, 2 Year M.Com., 2 Year M.Ed., 2 Year M.Sc. Food Science & Technology, 2 Year M.Sc. Geology, 2 Year M.Sc. Mathematics, 2 Year M.Sc. Textile & Apparel Science.

2.  3 YEAR HONOURS PROGRAMMES: 3 Year B.Com. (Hons), 3 Year Chemistry (Hons), 3 Year English (Hans), 3 Year Geology (Hons), 3 Year Mathematics (Hons), 3 Year Physics (Hons).
3.  3 YEAR INTEGRATED PROGRAMMES: (B.Ed. + M.Ed.).

4.  5 YEAR INTEGRATED PROGRAMMES: 5 Year Integrated (Chemistry), 5 Year Integrated (Commerce), 5 Year Integrated (English), 5 Year Integrated (Geology), 5 Year Integrated (Mathematics), 5 Year Integrated (Physics), 5 Year Integrated Family & Community Science..

2. There shall be two set of question papers, one set for PG and the other set for UG courses comprising of 150 objective type questions of one mark each and the duration for the entrance test shall be 2 'A hours. The contents of the paper and weightage shall be:
General English : 40 questions
General Knowledge : 40 questions
Reasoning : 40 questions
Numerical Ability : 30 questions

3. For every wrong answer there shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks. The following weightage shall be given for admission to the various courses:
a) Academic Merit of the qualifying examination : 70%
b) Entrance Test : 30%

4. There shall be two question papers for CLUJET-2017, one for the candidates appearing after 12th class and other for the candidates appearing after graduation.

5. The level of numerical ability shall be of 10th standard only for both the question papers. The level of test for other components shall be of 12th standard in case of candidate appearing after 12th class and graduation standard for the candidates appearing after graduation.

6. Centres for Examinations: Cluster University Entrance Test shall be conducted in the centers to be constituted in Jammu City. The examination centre once allotted shall not be changed at the later stage.

NOTE: THE EXAMINATION CENTRE ONCE OPTED BY THE CANDIDATE SHALL NOT BE CHANGED AT THE LATER STAGE.

7. Fee for the Cluster University Jammu Entrance Test (CLUJET) to be charged from each candidate is Rs. 700/- for General Category and Rs. 600/- for SC/ST/ST (Leh & Kargil). The candidate desirous to be considered under Self-Financing Seats has to pay additional Rs. 300/- alongwith the requisite Entrance Fee.

Mode of Payment Through Jammu & Kashmir Bank Challan.

NOTE: The University shall provide amanuensis to the Blind Candidates. However, the request in this regard shall be made to the Dean Academic Affairs, atleast two weeks prior to the conduct of CLUJET and the amanuensis is having a lesser qualification than the candidate.

7. Publication of Answer Key: The University shall publish the Answer Key pertaining to the CLUJET-2017 on the University Website www.clujet.in Candidate/s having any doubt with respect to Answer Key/ Questions of the CLUJET can submit lodge/register his/her complaint online at www.clujet.in with supporting document/proof as per schedule given at Annexure II.

8. Declaration of Result The result of CLUJET shall be declared after the approval of the Result Publishing Committee i.e Core Committee of CLUJET. If the need arises, the Result Publishing 
committee can moderate the result
